THE KING’S 4-ATTRACTIONS-! THE LAST JAZZ.

Once again the King’s is offering the great Pathe’ programme with it 3 wonderful entertainment value This week’s programme is headed by nn absorbing murder mystery picture entitled “Face to Face” Which tells the story of life’s failures Hie body was starved; his mind drugged ; his pocket empty. In the dead of night he climbed into the batl;room window of the Weston home and found himself face to face with a young man. He raised his gun and fired ! What is the answer to this curious problem? What is the solution of the mystery of the death of John Weston, who was on the verge of bankruptcy? See the solution of the knotty problem m “Face to Face.” On the same programme is another episode of “The Timber Queen” serial and a comedy “The Ladder Jinx,” featuring a new comedian, Edward Norton asd beautiful Margcrite Landis. The last Jazz dance of the season is tonight and the Jazzaramba band will be in attendance. Reserves may be obtained by ringing phone 173 between 6.30 and 7.30. Prices are as usual.

KING’S COMPETITIONS. Commencing this week the manage ment of the King’s has instituted a calculation competition. It all centres round how long a candle will burn. The first prize is a suit of clothes or a tailored costume; the second a lady’s or gentlemen's watch and the third an jXmas hamper. QUEEN’S THEATRE. To-nigli't the Queen’s patrons will be treated with an exceptionally fine double star programme. The first feature will be a 5 reel drama entitled “The Fear Market” starring Alice Brady. I‘t is a story of sauve brigands whose weapon is scandal. When they drive an innocent woman to the grave, a girl friend vows revenge and the trail ends in a scene of great dramatic intensity—at her own father’s door. Alice Brady who stars in this production lias never been so charming and adorable and has a great wealth of beautiful gowns. The second feature is a five reel comedj r drama “The Outside Woman” featuring Wanda Hawley. Usual prices.

THE MARVELLOUS D’AiLMAINES. On Tuesday next at 8.15 at the Queen's Theatre D’Almaines the famous American hypnotist, transformist and illusionist will hold a one night season. By those with authority to speak he is recognised a a the greatest public performer that has visited this part of the world. His entertainment is nothing if it is not original and he must be seen to believed. The outstanding feature of his performance is the hearty laughter'that his work provokes from his audience. Owing to the prices being very reasonable the Is seats will not be available until 8 p.m. 15 minutes before performance The marvellous E>’AB maines will be assisted by an excellent supporting cast.
