NEW WAIOTAHI. The report for the week ended October 20th., 1923, is as follows: — During the past week the southeast crosscut passed through some small threads of quartz. The country continues to he of a good description. The intermediate level from the wins? sunk on the foot wall leader has been extended Sft. Some strong colours of gold were seen in' the stone broken out. and the lead is now from 4 to 6 inches in thickness. OHINEMURI. The report for the week ended October 20th.. 1923, is as follows: — The south drive on the Oamoola Reef at the low level has been temporarily suspended to enable a crosscut to he put out. at a point 850 ft. from the Silvers!roam crosscut. On the hanging-wall side a distance of lift. Gin. has been penetrated, and discloses a few small stringers mixed with country rock. The footwall is not yet exposed, and the quartz so far met with is of a favourable nature. ZEETIAN CONSOLIDATED, LTD. Mr IT. Frank Shepherd, superintendent of the Zeohan Consolidated, Ltd., reports ns follows for the week ending October 20th.*— The No. 5 level has been extended 7ft. for the week. The face is now SSft. east of the No. 3 reef. During the week a small quartz leader was met with, from which a strong flow of water is making. The country continues favourable, and the Birthday Reef should he close to hand.
