NEW WAIOTAHI. Report for week ended September Bth 1923, drive on Cure Reef. Two men have been engaged during the past week stripping the reef, but no quartz has so far been broken. The country is of a splendid description, and some good colours of gold were seen in two small threads of quartz which were met with running into the reef. The drive wifll now be carried on with four men. South East Crosscut. The Crosscut is passing through country. of a first class description with no change to report. Winze on Footwall Lead has been sunk 24ft. and work at this p/oint! ias temporally suspended to enable the drive on the cure reef to be pushed on, OHINEMURI. Report for the week ended Bth September 1923. The South Drive on the Camoola Reef at the low level is out a total distance of 621 ft from the crosscut. The reef is the full width of the drive with neither wall* exposed. The quartz broken durng the week was of a very hard description but continues to carry a little value.
