COLLISION.
BATTLESHIP AND STEAMER NEW YORK September 12. A message from San Pedro reports that; the battleship Texas collided with the steamer Steel Seafarer in a heavy fog, in the vicinity where the seven destroyers went on the rocks on Saturday. The report indicates that the merchant ship is badly damaged. The Texas was steaming from San Francisco with five other battleships.
