COMPENSATION
WATERSIDER’S DEATH . CLAIM BY WIDOW. (Press Association). WELLINGTON, September 11. At the Arbitration Court the widow of Walter Person claimed £652 damages from the New land Shipping Company on account of the death of her husband a waterside worker, who, it was alleged, was injured by a a sling of timber on one of defendant’s steam ers.
The point in dispute was whether the accident really set up a conditio® Jof} health which Eventually caused reserved.
