POISON SUSPECTED. Sept. 11. Mrs Maria Nixon, a middle-aged woman, was found dead at her residence at Newton under circumstances indicating that her death was due to poison,
THE INQUEST. AUCKLAND, Sept. 11. At the inquest on Maria Nixon, aged 50, evidence was given that she suffered from depression and death was due to an irritant poison, a large quantity of which the deceased had drunk. A verdict of suicide while mentally depressed was returnek.
