BECOMES A HERO. AN ORDER BESTOWED. (A. and N.Z. Cable). * ROME, Aug. 21. . Tiraboschi, the Channel swimmer, who has become a national hero, has arrived here from Milan at Signor Mussolini’s invitation. Athletes carried him through enormous crowds from the station to a motor ear in which he drove to Palazzo Chigi where Signor Mussolini questioned him for half an hour about his feat and finally he said the Order of Chivalry had been conferred on him by the King of Italy.
