NOTICE OE RESOLUTION (BY WAY OF SPECIAL ORDER) AUTHORISING THE RAISING OF LOAN FOR COMPLETING PURCHASE OF LAND AT HIKUTAIA. Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council, held at Monday, the second day of July, 1923, at the County Office at Ngatea, the following resolution was passed by way of special order, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Council, to be held on Tuesday, the fourteenth day of August, 1923, at the hour of 11 a.m. at the County Office at Ngatea. ■ i: RESOLUTION. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1913,” by Section thirty-nine of “The Finance Act, 1921-22,” and by and with the consent of the Governor-General in Council as set forth in the New Zealand Gazette No. 18 of the 22nd day of February, 1923, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves by way of special -order as follows: —

That for the purpose of discharging an existing liability of £2OOO for the purchase of land at Hikutaia for quarry purposes, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £2OOO at such rate of interest not exceeding so much as may be authorised under Section 11 of “The Finance Act, 1921/'’ (as amended) for a period of 361 years.
