S HE MEMORY of the dread days of the 1918 influenza epidemic fills us with horror—and the frequent cables telling of influenza outbreaks in other countries warn us that care must be taken. An experienced chemist, tells how to act: “ Go to bed immediately you feel the first signs of ‘flu/ Don’t get out for any reason.
