TO CURE ALL DISEASES!

GARLIC. A WONDERFUL- HERB. Nearly all of the greatest inventions of to-day are adaptations or improvements : the main facts were known thousands of years ago. but in most cases the real inventors had no idea of applying them to practical uses. Garlis has been used as a medicinal herb tor untold centuries. The old Greek and Roman doctors knew that it had great virtues, but they could see no way of getting over its objectionable taste and smell.

An English doctor has made a discovery which may lead to the stamping out of many of the worst diseases, He has discovered an antiseptic which may be used internally as well as externally. ' We have known for a long time that diseases affecting the outside of the body could be cured rapidly by means of disinfectants; but hitherto it has been impossible to treat diseases of the inner parts in the same way. Antiseptics strong enough to kill these internal diseases could not be administered because of their poisonous effects. But now an antiseptic has been found which can be taken like ordinary medicine. It is powerful enough to kill the disease, but it has no harmful action on the human body. And what is it made of, this wonderful new stuff? Garlic! Just the simple common garlic whose healing powers our remote forefathers knew. Modern science has discovered a lheans of extracting from garlic the essential healing juices, and of ridding them of their offensive taste and odour. It is claimed that by means of the new drug we shall be. able successfully to treat such appalling diseases as consumntion and cancer.
