TRANSVAAL STRIKE.
MEN RESUMING WORK. THE POLITICAL ISSUE. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) CAPETOWN, Feb. 16. / The industrial situation is somewhat brighter. The decision of the underground officials to resume work is regarded as a serious blew to the Federation. The numbers of men returning are increasing and several •mines have resumed milling, though the operations, naturally, are restricted. A mass meeting of 8000 miners passed a resolution to stand firm in the fight for a white South Africa.
