TE AROHA.
(From Our Travelling Reporter.) ' A RESIGNATION.
At the last meeting of the To Aroha Borough Council the resignation of Cr. H. W. Gifford, who is now residing in Ongarue, was teceived. Cr., Gifford regretted, taking this step, and said that, he hoped before very long to return to To Aroha. A SCHOOL. The Tirohia School is completed, and the painters have nearly completed their work. The formal opening of the school building will be held in a couple of weeks. TIMBER. There is very little demand for pinus insignus timber in this o.istriefc at' present. One sawmill, a couple of miles from Tb Aroha. has its. yards fully stocked. A large nuipber of dwellings are in the course of erection in this town. ■ -
