WESTFIELD MARKET. (From Onr Correspondent.) AUCKLAND Pee. 81. Prices of beef at the Westfiold fni stock market yesterday showed a slight improvement compared' with last week's rates, ;tlho increase representing from 15s to 20s. a head in well-finished cattle. Extra choice ox beef brought £l 8s per 100 lb., compared with £l 6s at the previous sale. Thero was a good yarding of sheep and a steady demand, values showing a slight increase on recent rates. Extra heavy wethers realised 15s 6d; owes '9s 6d to lis. There was a good demand for pigs at an advance on last week's rates, Choppers and bacon pigs realised from £3'to £4 15».
