One is from Prelude, the "dam of Peromlla (Welcome Stakes winner). It will be trained at Trentham by T. F. Quinlivan. The other is from Peace, and therefore a full brother to Prosperity (McLean Stakes winner). It will also be trained at Trentham, but by Hugh Telford. NOTES. J. Winder went up to Auckland yesterday with Bright Day, a tWo-year-old colt by Day Comet—Gwendoline. He is a fine upstanding chestnut in good condition and looking very well.
