Kenrick, S.M., this morning to four charges of fal'so pretences an<L' one of theft, involving a sum of £7O obtained by means of valueless cheques issued at Rotorua, To %.»• ti, and Hamilton, and of stealing from the Taranaki Education Board. Ho wai sentenced to two years' reformative treatment on each charge, the sentences to bo concurrent.
