BOY SCOUTS.
CAMP AT PURU. This Christmas about 130. Uoy Scouts and 10 officers win go into camp at Puru. An advance party of 10 boys and 3 officers, in. charge of Mr. T. Ladd, will arrive at Thames this evening, 'and tie main body will arriva about noon on Boxing Bay. Dr.. Liggms, of Thames, has consented to act as camp medical officer, and the JJer. F. Harty : as camp chaplain. Sunday, January 1, will be an open day in camp when visitors 'from Thames and-elsewhere will receive a cordial welcome. - January 2 will also be an open, day when a "sports programme will be -gonethrough. The camp wifl 'be jin charge of Mr. C. M. Brown, or Tamahere. . -
