NEED FOR CARE. (From Our Correspondent.) PARLIAMENT BLDGS. Dec. a. The Prime Minister stated in the House this afternoon that, if possible, the ■meati pool scheme would bo made to apply-to this season's output. He did not think it could apply to arrangements already made. During the next fortnightor three weeks a representative conference of producers would consider tho scheme in Wellington. The scheme could not be rushed into operation, as tho producers had to be consulted and tlhe services ot ex • perienced men, passessed of great ability, had to be obtained.
