A private'cablegram from Sierra "Leono indicates that the situation of the steamer Saxon was more serl•ous than Was ; at first Supposed. When the vessel ! arrived at Sierra Leone her sides'were radiating heat. The passengers had abandoned their cabins, and were sleeping on the decks. The smoke during the last few days of the voyage was dense enough to render the decks! Kke a London fog.
