CLEARING SALE AT TURUA.

There was a fair /attendance of farmers at the clearing sale of Mr. George Courtney’s dairy herd, Utelity.. i by- the’-Farmers’ Auctioneerrifg''C<3trt ' pany yesterday. The prices realised, were, all- things considered; very fair.

• The herd was a very, mixed, lot including' Jerseys, Shorthorns, Hoisteins,' and Jersey-Holstein cross. Springing Holstein heifers made up to £25. Springing J ersey heifers ranged from £6 10/- to £29 10/--The remainder of the dairy herd sold at prices'from £6 10/ J to £27 10/-.
