A. & P. ASSOCIATIONS.
HAURAKI.
(From Our Correspondent.) PAEROA, August 1.
At its last meeting, the Hauraki A. and P. Association decided to hold a two-day show, and a committee was appointed to draw up the necessary schedule.
There was a. considerable amount of discussion with regard to the conditions governing the Hubbard Memorial Shield. Mr. G. Buchanan said that the judges did not- favour 1 the system under which animals of different ■breeds were pitted against each other. Ultimately, it was decided that the shield should be allotted to ti e four dairy breeds (Ayrshire, Holstein, Shorthorn, and Jersey) in rotation, provided that there were three entries in each class, and that the order of rotation was fixed by ballot. If the breed securing the ballot had not the requisite entries, then the next breed would be chosen. DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVES.
