NEW LICENSING BILL

The 'House of Commons sat till 3.45 o'clock this morning, and read the Licensing / Bill a third time. The Bill provides that public houses shall be open for eight hours daily in tno provinces, and for nine hours in London, and for five hours on Sundays. •"',..• ... . The Bill permits drinking in restaurants till 12.30 a.m., but abolishes the bona fide traveller provision.
