Cr. McCormick moved, and Civ Cox seconded that the' engineer inspect the Huinui road, and carry out any urgent repairs.—'Carried. It was decided to instruct the* manager of the Wharepoa ferry to go on issuing tidkets. •Cr. -McCormick reported that the last tides had broken the drains at Kopu, and i>ix>posed that the engineer report to next meeting.—Carried. It was a>lso decided to approach the Thames Valley Dairy Co., asking if they would be agreeable to paying half of the cost of the repairs, and write to the Thames Harbour Board to have tlie wharf approaches attended to. • Cr. McCoimuck asked that the Matatoiki road be attended to with the metal from tlie creek on the reserve. —Granted. • Cr. iMcCormick, also reported there was a. horse dead on Rae's property alongside the Matatoki Road. The Health Inspector will be instructed to have tlie beast burned. ACCOUNTS. Accounts amounting- to £1,200 were passed for payment.
