The drive into the wailil at Ko. 3 level. New Sylvia mine, Thames, was extended 28ft. last week There- was. good country, in the face. -Sax stopes wei'e going abevte the level, and were producing a fair supply of ore, in which oold was seen.-occasionally. The inte'i'niedii'.te 'kA Tel was advanced sft, and the reef wa.p, '_3ft wide. Three stores were going over the level. The reef was 4ft wide. An extension of 18ft Avas made in the battery level. There wag no change in the reef. The low level was advanced lUft. The country was hard but was shootiiic well. ' ' *
