SYLLABUS. Mr Mulgan informed the meeting that a slight change would be made
in the- syllabus as the result of the Inspectors' Conference, which met in the beginning of the year in Wellington.
In concluding his very interesting talk Mr Mulgan referred to a movement in which he was very mucß in-
terested, viz., the establishment of
Isuch institutions as hostels for girls', or branches of the Victoria League.
Mr Mulgan explained the object of these institujtions, which havte already proved to (be a great benefit to a large section of the community. He hoped something of the kind would be done on the Thames, as ifc only wanted someone interested enough to takle the lead and he had no doubt such an institution would prove as successful here as elsowhere. VOTE Om THANK9L On the motion of Rev. Dr. O'Callaghan, seconded by Mr D. Bussell, Mr Mulgan was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for Ms very interesting and instructive addre«3.
