GAOLS TOO COMFORTABLE.
CRIME. WAVE! IN EIGYPT,
(Pel- Press Association.)
LONDON, May 5
Crime in Egypt is on the up-gfade, and Judges and police are discouraged. ■ ', Juvenile crime has increased fourfold during! the la-st cTecade, and the reformatories are insufficient to accommodate the youthful offenders, who have had to bie put in the gaols. It is noticeable that the growth is largest in Caori, and it is suggested that the gaols are too comfortable.
