ELEPHANT'S COSTLY MEAL
BUNDLE OF £20 NOTES
LONDON, March 2.
A visitor to a travelling menagerie that was being exhibited at Usk had an unpleasant experience to-day. He liad been feeding an elephant, and when he had finished replaced a biscuit in oiie of his coat pockets.
In the same pocket was a bundle of £20 notes. The elephant made a dive with his trunk to get at the biscuit, and incidentally grabbed the notes as well, and, swallowed the lot.
