Man: Mr Fisher in a speech, at •Paparoai ,said his experience of the past year proved the injustice of the' cry that Crovernmfent would immie'dla- i tely reduce wages. Without doing this the Government' intended to increase the eMoieinoy of public services. He condemned the system by which any Governmenfc penalised a district! which had dignity enough to think; for itself and elect a representative opposed to the party in,power.
