In accordance with your instructions, the lamp post nenv the Shortland Railway Station., which was recently damaged by a horse and vehicle colliding with it, has been placed at the corner of Willoughby and Queen streets, on the northern sicte of the former street.. The wort of metalling the various streets in the Borough was commenced on the 4Jth in st. Bella and Pahau streets art finished, and Queen street is; now being attended to.
