In the intermediate level, the drive on the reef is 81ft south from the No. .2 rise. The old run of ore has been met ,which, came through when the reef was. first cut in the main orosscnijt at the battery level. In the battery level one stope is in progress between Nos. 2 and 3, and No's. 3 and -t rises. The reef in each case is flft wide, and loots well. Two stoposi aa-e being worked north of N|oi. 4 rise, tliie reef being 2ft wide in each. Two' stopes are hieing worked in the cross reef, with 2ft otf quartz in each. In the low 1 level the crosscut was advanced 13ft, The country in the facie., is of a mild d'esoriptio'n, and about the sain© amount of wiatea' is ooming tliroughi.
