The crowd then took charge and the principals in the show had to seek refuge in an adjacent shop. Buckets of water were thrown, on a densely packed crowd from a building, and the response was a showor of .stones, which broke some windows. The crowd hung on till after midnight, when the refugees were smuggled away in motors.
