It was reported to the. police that during la«t night burgl-irs had vißited his residence at Riandwirjk and attempted to break the safe. They flbtare partially through, then the drill broke. A portion was found on the floor. The burglars secured nothinjr. . Willis believes that the robbars were after certain papers, not valuables, as they left Jbehind a quantity of silver plat©. They obtained admittance by unfastening 1 the -wind>w. They police are of opinion that it is not an expert cracksman job.
