Ai fire 'broke ouit in the kitchen of the Egnwrat Private Hotel in Taranaki street at 3.20 this morning. The ftaaiies yere suppressed after considerable damage had been dkme to several rooms. The 'building, was owned by Dwan ißiros. wa® insured in the Altlas ofioe for £±5W>, The lease© is Mir J. >H. Baker, whose furnituire and) stock was insured in the Comaueroial Union for J-750.
