WEILUiNGTOiN'S DISPLAYS. (Per United Presji Association.) tEITXIIsTGTON 1, May. 131 'Indufitrios Week oomtoenoed yesterday. The displays of "made in Neiw Zealaind" goods' were rather oases in the desert of importations, but some of the oases are very 'extensive and ivery good to see. There was enough, in the exhibitions 1 to enco uage the promoters to feel repaid in some measure for their efforts, biit there was no^ enougl) to warrant- any sensation of jubilation. Some of the shopkeepers are still lingering in the background, but they may help *o ■brghten, up the streets with the products of Now Zealand skill before the week id out.
