SHOTOVER (Karangahake).
The drive in the Shotover mine, Karangahiake, is in 266 ft, in diisturbed countiry. The inonager believe* it is ipentraiiting tihie hanigirigwall of the^main f*ult. flic states that'4oo feet north of the Shotover there is a reef '20ft. wide, assatying ftom 15s to £1 3s per ton. It is in. splendid country, and should traverse th* temtre of tihe) comipany's ptopetrty, about 500 ft east of the main fault. The manager intends shortly to try and locate the reef in. the Shiotover ground.
