Thie annual meeting of the New Zealand Instituite is being held today. The Chairman, Mr G. M. Thomson, M.P., in his report stated that the committee set up at tihe last aiinual meeting to iexamine the books ol the lTbrairy with a view of determining their ownership had never met, consequently titae position, remained unaltered. He also stated that he considered it was advisable thiat the practice of igir'anting diplomas of memibershfp to honorary members of the institute snould; be reviewed.
