BROKEN HILLS (Kennedy Bay).
Operations iv the Broken. .Hills mine, Omoho, Kennedy Bay, in which some Thames residents are interested, are 'being attended with encouraging results. -A!, level is now being put in by Messrs Davies and Sweeney, to get under 1 the winze in which the lode showed strong rrold. The drive is now in 28ft and the country is all that could be desired. It is expected the required diistince to get, ufjider the winze will be accomplished this week, when it is hoped gold will be met with. The level will give about 40 feet of backs.
