"Mr Devlin and myself," lie said, ''were delegated! by the United Irish Party on the linos of other previous delegations —namely the 'Redmond brother's, Mir D'illon, Sir Thomas Grattan Esmond, amd 1 'Mr Deasey. We have coma to Australasia, for the purpose^ of enlisting the sjnupathy of the Australasian people in tto struggle that we are making for our national rights, and to 1 secure practical support for the Irish Party.
