Mr A- T- Ngata,, M-H-R-, -who is at Port Alwanui, telegraphed this afternoon to the Chief Postmaster at Gis'borno: — "lit is reported* by the Maoris who have just crossed the Waiapu River * from the East Cape thiaib a tlireemastod schooner was wrecked there on Monday night or Tuesday'"The name is '-Star Henry' or 'Sir Henry-'. '•'Nono were saved"There is supposed to be five persons on board- Three were seen on a plank and were washed off-" The Sir Henry was bound from Auckland to Napier with hardwood timber- She sheltered at Tolaga Bay on Sunday and Monday, and when tiho wind cam© in. from; the eastward on Monday evening she beat out of thoßßary r taking two hours hard battling to do soTho fearful storm made the Tolaga j people anxious, and they telegraphed ns to her safety-
