Ministerial Luncheon.
THE CHRISTCHURCH RECEPTION
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 21
A luncheon was given to-day at Bellamy's by the Ministry in honor of a number of soldiers who have recently returned from South Africa, and to Mr Charles Hudson, who was recently appointed manager of the Tasmanian railways.
The Premier presided, and other members of the Ministry were present.
The Premier and Sir J. G. went south to-night by the Mararoa to be present at the Royal reception at Christchurch.
■Over one thousand volunteers were also on board the steamer.
