A QUESTION OF SWEEPS.
(Presa Association. —Copyright.) MELBOURNE, June 21. The Premier pf Tasmania protested against the Postal Bill, as interfering in conducting Tattersall's sweep? through the Post Office, and therefore an infringement of the State rights of Tasmania*.
The Hon. Mr Barton replied thai federation had given the power to legislate in the direction of the proposals of the Bill.
