THE SEVENTH CONTINGENT.
WELLINGTON, March 5.
Captahicies in the Seventh Contingent have been allotted to G. R. Johnston (Waverley) formerly Lieut. First Contingent anjL J. H. Hamer (Christchurch) an old army man with South African record, Sergt Lestrange, formerly of the First, has been promoted to Lieutenant.
Further appointments to the Seventh Contingent are: Captain Ruther ford, of Masterton, Lieut. Brathwaite, of Hastings, and Lieut. Grant, of Auckland.
