The. Pacific Cable Board meets on Monday to consider whether it is desirable to negotiate with the Eastern Extension Company and whether the Board should take action in the face of certain of the colonies ' arrangements with the Eastern Extension, and also to decide what constitutes an all British" cable across AmericaL It is understood that Victoria /seeks the Board's approval of, granting the Eastern Extension Company similar concession to those the other colonies have given.
