They were found a hundred miles inland in pos>-' sessionf of rifles! and 600 cordite cartridges. They were arrested and sentenced to at year's imprisonment. The Canadian Government has asked Lord Roberts to nominate six members of. the Canadian contingent in South Africa for Imperial army commissions.!
