PROTEST TO PORTUGUESE GOVERNMENT. MR. REITZ ANGRY. PORTUGAL'S REPLY. IN ACCORDANCE WITH TREATY. LISBON, April 20. Mr. Reitis has protested angrily to the Portuguese Government against the British forces being allowed to pass through Portuguese territory by the Beirai route. j Portugal has replied that the consent is in accordance with the 1891' treaty. - * . j The Portguese Minister for Foreign Affairs informed the Cortes that none of the Powers protested in regard' to the matter, and no protest was expected.
