OAMARU, April 17

An Austrian named Peter Cartridge, aged 65 O was found dead on the road at; Kakanui with a wound over his eye. The evidence Bhowed there had been an altercation with seven young men and some stone throwing. One witness said the stone that killed Cartridge was thrown by one of two men whom he named. NEW.
