FOUND HANGED. MELBOURNE, Sept. 27

A Geelong fanner named Dansey, aged 75, who had arranged to marry yesterday, failed to appear. Later on he was found hanged in a shed.

SYDNEY, September 27. The steam collier Curra jong collided with and sank the ketch Lansdowne. The cook of the latter had a thrilling escape. He was carried to the bottom, and escaped through a gap made by the steamer. The ketch was insured in the National for £1000.
