AUCKLAND, February 20. THE LATE MR. McDERMOTT. The remains of the late Mr. Martin McDermott were laid to rest at Waikomiti Cemetery yesterday. The cortege included members of the Church of Christ and Ponsonby Fire Brigade, representatives of various bowling clubs and many prominent citizens.
A CHILD KILLED,
William Frederick Lewis, 5 years old, was kicked in the skull by a horse, and died shortly afterwards.
