THAMES SUMMER MEETING.
Referring to the Thames Jockey Club's races, the Observer says: " The acceptance lists indicate good fields, and not a few of those eugaged are Auckland trained. Scrip may win the Maiden ; Disturbance the Hurdles; Lady Marion the Cup; Monk the Steeple, and Markinch the Stewards." Several racehorses were brought down from Auckland by the Wakatere this afternoon which are to take part in the meeting.
