WAIOTAHI CREEK SCHOOL.

The breaking up of this school eventuated to-day at noon. The school was gaily decorated for the pleasant occasion, with greenery from the forest and beautiful garlands of garden flowers. The prizes were presented by the headmaster, Mr Hall, and were . as follows :—

Attendance Prizes. — First class: Isabella J. Wilson, Cora E Hodge, Chas. D. Wilson, Frances Box all. Second class: William Bumit, Virgil M. Waite, Elizabeth Dare, Jarvis Bond, Ella Bond, Charlotte Clark, Sylvia Boxall, Annie Bond. After the presentation of the prizes the pupils sang a number of eongs, including "My Own New Zealand Home," ''Vacation Song," and con* eluded with " God Save the Queen." Three cheers and other nxpresnions of .general satisfaction, concluded the proceedings. The school reopens on Monday, February 6th, and the rail* way excursion to Te Aroha is to be held on February 17th.
