NOTICB is hereby given that at a Special Meet'ug of the County Council of Thames* held on the 27th day of June, 1898, it was resolved— That the Council proceed under Specin Order to repeal By-law No. 5, deal- , ing with Licensing and Regulating Abattoirs and Slaughterhouse* in the County of Thames; and it was further resolved to proceed under Special Order to make a Bylaw, No. fi, to License and Weguitte Abattoirs and Slaughterhouses in the County of Thames, to provide for the Inspection of Cattle both before and after Slaughtering; fixing times and hours during which cattle may be Slaughtered; the destruction and disposal of all Animals condemned by the Inspector as being unfit for human food; for the prevention of Pigtreiies, Boiling-down Houses, Skin and Hide Sheds being erected and used in the vioinity of Slaughterhouses; and the Inspection of Abattoirs, Yards, Pens, Carts, and Implements, and keeping a Correct Register of all cattle slaughtered tbeir brands, color, age, «x, ftc, by the Licensee. And it is further resolved that in accordance with Section 1*24, and the Subsections thereof, of the Counties Act, 18S6 that a SPECIAL MERTING of the said Council shall be held in the Council Chambers, Mary street, at 7 30 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, the 3rd day of Autu^t next ensuing, whereat to consider and confirm or otherwise deal with this Resolution, and. that the necessary public notification of this Meeting and the foregoing Special Order be given.
